Square Dancing and Community Potluck!

  • The Edison Granary 14136 Gilmore Avenue Bow, WA, 98232 United States (map)

Coming this November to The Edison Granary!

Swing your partner and promenade down to The Edison Granary for a community potluck and square dance!

Don't know how to do-si-do or allemande left? No problem! No experience or partner necessary. All dances will be taught by our amazing callers, Devin Champlin and Ava Honey. And a local string band led by Stuart Illson will provide lively old time-y tunes for your dancing pleasure.

What should I bring?

A dish to share. This is a potluck! If you can, bring a label with ingredients for people with dietary restrictions.

What time is all this happening?

6–7 p.m. Eat and talk and make friends!

7–10 p.m. Dance and laugh and cry tears of joy!

10–11 p.m. Help clean up if you can!

Can I bring alcohol?

Yes! But beer and wine only. Please no drinking and driving, be sure to designate a driver.

Does it cost money?

No, but a $10–20 donation would be much appreciated. All money goes to covering venue costs and paying the band and callers. If we get enough support, we could make this a regular event and that would be really cool!

Do you need help?

Yes! If you have decorating talents or event planning expertise, I would love your help preparing. Send me a message if you have time to volunteer.
